Blueprint

Turn any plan into a task board that runs itself. (Pro)

Blueprint is a Pro feature — $10/mo flat. Each project gets a living task board where every task is a self-contained, runnable prompt with its own session.

#Board

  • Tasks. Planned work waiting to run.
  • In Progress. Work currently running in its session.
  • Done. Work completed and reviewed.
  • Blocked and Failed. Set automatically as agents report status — you resolve, then re-run.

#How it works

#Run a task

Launch any task and Codey opens a session with that task's exact prompt pre-loaded. Progress moves the card across the board on its own.

task prompt
Task: Add rate limiting to POST /api/waitlist. Goal: reject bursts over 10/min with 429. Done when: tests cover burst + recovery.
  • Self-contained prompts. Each task carries its own goal and definition of done.
  • Own session. Nothing leaks between tasks; each run starts from its prompt.

#Reorder and rename

Drag to reorder, rename, or refine any task. Its bound session follows on next open, and the board persists per project across restarts.

  • Edits sync. Reordered or renamed tasks stay bound to their sessions.
  • Persistent board. Close Codey; the board is intact when you return.

#Record a plan with an agent

Discuss a plan with an agent, approve the split, and ask it to record the plan — it saves the tasks to your board through the built-in blueprint tool. Agents record plans only after your approval.

  • Approval first. No task lands on the board before you sign off the split.
  • Feature Architect skill. Install the skill package for guided plan-to-board breakdowns of larger features.
